Our Story

THE FOUNDATION
Haley’s Flooring & Interiors, Inc., originally known as Carpet Systems of Huntsville, was established by Carter and Nancy Haley in October of 1988. Carpet Systems initially operated in a small office on Drake Avenue, providing commercial flooring services to local businesses in Huntsville. Their eldest son, Chris, also joined the business at the beginning. Within two years, the business expanded into the retail market, moved to a small retail space, and began serving the public with flooring and installation services. As the family business continued to grow, the need for more employees and a larger facility became inevitable. Michael, the youngest son, joined during this transition, and the business eventually moved to its current location on Bob Wallace Avenue.

IN ADDITION TO ...
In the early 2000s, the new building enabled us to diversify our offerings in the home interiors sector, including furniture, home accessories, custom blinds, window coverings, and even Liberty Safes. This marked the birth of Haley's Interiors. Along with new warehouses, employees, and divisions, a third-generation Haley, Abby, graduated from The University of Alabama and returned to contribute to the family business. 

TODAY...
In January 2020, Carter and Nancy retired from the business and passed the torch on to their two sons, Chris Haley (CEO) and Michael Haley (CFO), along with longtime employee Adam Rogers (COO).

As the new owners of the business, these three work hard to continue the legacy set forth by Carter and Nancy. Another legacy was also passed on when Nancy’s granddaughter, Abby, took over as Haley’s Interiors Showroom Manager. She now manages Haley's Interiors, a testament to our commitment to continuity and family values. 

What began in a small office with 3-4 employees has now expanded and grown into an 80+ employee business, continuing to strive for excellence in all we do.
